I wish I knew how challenging it is to figure out what to do all day with my toddler. I try not to have the tv on too much. She gets bored with her toys, even though I do a toy rotation. Her learning time only takes 20 minutes or so. I think it has something to do with being in the living room all the time. I’ve been putting together a toy basket for each room so she has something different to look forward to when we change rooms so I can get things done around the house more easily. I am trying to get her outside more often too. It’s just been challenging in the heat, but I think I just need to get over it and deal with a little discomfort of being in the heat to make my daughter happy.

We laid down 4 towels the other day and brought the water table inside 
it was wayyy too hot out.
I wish I had some ideas for you, my kids are starting to get bored inside too

That’s a fun idea! It’s definitely too hot to be outside. We try to go out early in the morning while there’s still shade in the backyard. We don’t always make it

Honestly I let my toddler mop and sweep. That’s her favorite thing to do now. So when I’m cleaning she’s usually cleaning to. She’s a lot happier than me though

Something I use to do with my god son when it was hot was I would freeze toddler safe water color infused water into ice cubes and then we would paint with the ice cubes in a big piece of water color paper while we at frozen fruit popsicles !! It was super fun! Just wanted to share one thing I did I wish I had more ideas for you but I will say that was a fun one my friend who’s a teacher at a Montessori school taught me that craft hehehe

I know it’s not much but it was super fun!!!
