One thing I wish someone could help me with this week is sleep training my daughter into her own bed. Me my husband and our 2 yearold co sleep in the same bed. But with me being pregnant our queen sized bed is entirely too small now. My daughter has a toddler bed next to ours but doesn’t like being in it. And it’s sooooo hard because one we dont have any space because she spreads out what ever way she wants. Two me and my husband haven’t been able to cuddle or genuinely be next to each other in forever. And three im planing on making sure my newborn sleeps in their crib and I feel guilty if I let my oldest still sleep in the bed with me but my youngest not. Also being pregnant the insomnia is crazy and so when I do finally sleep I dont want to have to keep waking up and moving her back to her bed. So I wish I had someone to help me do it. (Husband doesn’t wake up for anything once he’s asleep he’s asleep) its really hard on me right now. But all I can do is try

We co sleep and my son is a tiny starfish that full takes over the whole bed ! My partner too is a ROCK I’m jealous a little once he’s out he’s out! Hahaha I feel this so much it’s hurts and I can only imagine with being pregnant too I also had insomnia pregnant it was ruff! I hope you find the answer because I’m here with you looking for the same one

We went through this with my son one thing that helped was letting him pick out some sheets and pillow cases that he liked and I would try to rock him until he was asleep or sleepy (this got rough trying to carry him at the end of my pregnancy he is a chunk) we would talk about how big he is in his big boy bed and try to praise him about it and it seemed to help. I have posted this before on her but most of the time when we did something new with my kids it took a week for them to adjust and do it but that week was so rough and if we could make it through that it would get a little easier. Hope you find a solution soon and are able to get some sleep! I had insomnia pregnant too and it is so hard!

I hope you are able to teach your toddler to sleep in their own bed. I’m going to have to get a toddler bed for my daughter this year, and I am dreading teaching her to stay in it. I just know she’s going to wake up and wader around getting into things!

Wishing you smooth bedtime transitions and that well-deserved space (and cuddles!) back in your bed very soon! Hugs :heart_hands:
