How are your babies doing on roadtrips? Any tips to make it easier , we did really good up to our final hour and then our little guy lost it ! His banana slug helped a little

I try to time it out to where I feed the baby and change her diaper right before we get on the road and most of the time she will nap. Then we will stop to feed her change her diaper when wakes up and starts fussing. The portable sound machine is hooked on her car seat and it helps so much when she is fussy and nothing else soothes her. I try to take some toys that will entertain her and with my older two I would have to sit in the back with them she is entertained by her brother and sister right now. Our oldest was scared of the dark so we got her a toy that hung on her car seat and was a bug and changed colors and play music and it helped keep her entertained

I sat in the back and played with him and did everything I have the sound machine night light because he’s definitely scared of the dark as well, I might need something more entertaining and colorful like this though ! We ended up stopping ALOT towards the end but I made it worse everytime he would go back into his car seat. :,(

Honestly girl baby sensory has saved my life! Keeps the boys entertained for a while ! Try ms.rachel as well and baby shark !

Okay!! I tried playing with toys with him and he got over it after while but I think we need some more like those sensory videos
I need a way to stap my phone or something to the back of the seat? Idk what to use for that though

I always bring a ton of toys on our road trips. Like a whole bag full! With lots of noise toys. I had purchased a tablet to download shows from Netflix, but that thing quit working in less than 6 months. So if you buy a tablet for your son, don’t get one that is targeted towards toddlers/babies. Just get a normal tablet. Or use your phone. That’s what we do since our tablet crapped out.
It helps to sit in the backseat with him if you’re not doing that already. I honestly can’t remember the last time I sat in the front seat!

I haven’t sat in the front seat since he came home from the hospital besides when I drive him myself and oddly that’s when he’s calmest hahah how do you strap you phone to the backseat??? I was also thinking about getting one of those fisher price aquariums hahaha

I always just hold my phone lol. It gets so tiring! I bet you could do a makeshift one with a ziploc bag and some string. They do sell phone holders for the headrest on amazon if you want to buy one!
The aquarium is so cool! I haven’t seen the fisher price one, but we have one by baby Einstein. My daughter loves it! Walmart has a travel size version if you’re interested! It even clips onto the stroller.

We have a tonie box and my older two LOVE it on roadtrips it keeps them entertained I don’t know why i didn’t think to tell you that earlier one of them just walked out of their room with it haha

Yes we LOVE them and I always recommend it to my mom friends because it is something they will play with for a long time. It’s also a bonus that you can tell everyone he wants the characters for his birthday and Christmas and not end up with a ton of toys that he doesn’t play with. They also have creative tonies that you can record messages and stuff for them it is so neat.
