I am just so up and down right now, I will say I am about to start my cycle I think I have had some crazy cramps lately but I want to show my slacker side this was late in the afternoon I just nursed but there was about 1oz maybe a little less! It went up and then back down so I’m just trying to pump one side a little bit more! But this is the reality of a dip! It’s heartbreaking I hope this new M5 smart will help bring things up I am so lucky I get to try this out I am becoming obsessed with her, such a great suction and the app control is awesome

I think you’re excited and your cycle and all that emotions all at once. Give yourself grace! Takes time to get used to new pump.

You’ve got this momma! You have been through a lot lately and it will get back to where it needs to be give yourself some grace! Please don’t let it discourage you! My slacker side looks like this a lot too and I try to remind myself that my worth is not measured in ounces and my body is able to produce what my baby needs and I am so thankful for that however it is so stressful and hard not to get discouraged.

I was hoping that was the case!! I was freaking out not going to lie like what the heck is happening to me ! I know my slacker slacks but THIS MUCH!!! Trying to remain calm my son’s diapers are being changed a good amount so I know he’s getting enough! And he’s gaining weight like every darn day

That means so much to me to hear, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t absolutely panicking about this, my body has had a rough month so I’m trying to remind myself that and like you said we aren’t measured in ounces and as long as I know my son is getting fed that makes me feel at ease

Hoping to fix this problem soon I am using a new pump too so that could cause some issues, like angel said I do think it takes a bit to get use to them

The suction on the sucker is wild to me! It’s so good for an “affordable” pump! I hate the dip associated with hormones. I hope your starts to bump up again soon. Mine did slowly go up today, so my fingers are crossed for you.

Does your slacker ever kick back into it though? You say they switch so they eventually have a supply here and there? I’m hoping to get it back up here soon

Yes the usually even out eventually. Don’t know if it happens with what part of my cycle but for a few days every month my left side will have more then my right in the mornings then switch off in the evenings. Sometimes it’s for a full day one has more then the other. My son’s favorite side is my left tho.

Okay yes so my sons favorite side is also my left but them sometimes my right will make more at night and Leak a bunch so I try to get him to nurse that side or use a collection cup!! It’s so odd and I do think my cycle is coming in for the first time in over a year so who knows !!!

Yea it’s probably your hormones making your supply dip. Do you nurse on both sides or just one side?

I nurse in both sides or try to at least bit at night my son will nurse from my left side a lot when we are like in and out of sleep
I try the other side at night but he prefers the left however he will nurse from the right when we are playing and he needs a quick fix

Hahahah that honestly makes me feel so much better!!! I thought I was messing up but that’s just what’s happening right now! He’s more active so he does like a drive by on the right side
