Imagine spending an hour trying to nap your very tired infant. Then your toddler comes in to help. You can be mad about because she is so sweet but also we may never get the nap. 2 year age gap things I didn’t know. Still enjoying the time.

Oh mama, I feel you. My 4 year old does this all the time my 1 year old will then think it’s play time and refuse to nap after. It’s definitely hard trying to balance 2 kids

Oh my gosh yes!! My 2yr old is such a mommas boy that trying to get my baby asleep while he’s awake is nearly impossible lol

Oh no! Your daughter is so sweet for trying to help, but I can only imagine how frustrating it is not being able to get the youngest to sleep. Maybe he will fall asleep playing like some babies do. Mine has yet to do that though

I honestly wanted to take a picture earlier but didn’t want to break the nap efforts. But then I figured we were not making any ground so a quick photo was so worth it.

Yep, same, but with 5 other kids. Each one has to tell the baby something useless before he can nap, and then he doesn’t get a nap. But they love him so much and have lots of hugs and kisses for him. Why don’t they try it when he’s crying, and not take his nap
