Supply is starting to tank.. what’s everyone’s favorite breastmilk supplement?

I’ve been seeing a bunch of different opinions when it comes to supplements that increase breastmilk supply and I’m wondering what everyone’s favorites are. I’ve been looking at the Legendairy Milk brand , but there are so many different kinds

Mainly needing something to help increase my supply, but also looking into things that will help increase the nutritional value.

Side note !

if my baby is getting vitamin D drops, but I’ve been combo-ing with formula, should I stop giving the vitamin D drops? The subject is so confusing to me and I’m wondering if because I supplement with formula when I’m low, is he getting too much vitamin D considering what’s already in the formula, while also getting drops ?

Im a FTM so please forgive me :sob:

Don’t apologize at all! there is so much information to learn as a first-time mom! And can be overwhelming sometimes. I only do moringa powder i don’t have enoughknowledge for supplementing. As per vitamin D Drops Standard advice is if baby gets less than 32 oz of formula a day, they still need the Vitamin D drops. Once they consistently drink 32+ oz of formula daily, you can stop the drops because formula covers their daily 400 IU requirement. Definitely double-check with your pediatrician at your next visit! And lastly welcome to the community mama. We’re glad you here :beating_heart:

I think it’s important that I remember that everyone is different and different things work for different people but with that being said for me anything with Moringa leaf has been very effective!!! I like legendary milks Milkapalooza and then I also really like boobie milk to the max bars and munchkin cookies as well!!! But that milkapalooza has really done something great for me

Don’t apologize we are here to help each other that’s what this community is about!

Have you checked your flange size? It is so important and also drinking lots of water I add liquid IV to mine to help me drink it and get some electrolytes and eating plenty of protein. As for the supplements I really like legendary milk cash cow and milkapalooza have worked best for me.

I would also like to know if my production is in danger of existence

When my breastmilk supply is low, I make sure to drink a ton of water. That’s usually the culprit for me is not drinking enough water.

Wow thank you!! I was reading to see if anyone had an answer to that! I had no idea about this!

Yes, unfortunately, we went to different pediatricians, and they all said the same thing, that breast milk contains only a small amount of vitamin D, which isn’t enough to meet an infant’s daily requirements. They said we could either give vitamin D drops or get the vitamin D shot. We chose the drop, which I think most people do.

I noticed a difference with cash cow from Legendairy milk. After a while it gets a little bit expensive, I started making my own suppliments from the ingredients listed on the back of the bottle. So far so good! And my pediatrician said to give my baby vitamin D drops everyday unless I switched over to formula completely.
