Okay maybe this is an unconventional answer but… what I wish I knew is that I would be just fine. I don’t think all the things I read or watched or researched could have prepared me for being a first time mom to twin babies. From the minute I found out I was having twins it was a high risk pregnancy, and there were lots of appointments, worries, and unknowns. What I wish I knew was simply that I would figure it out, and that I don’t have to do things a certain way just because that’s what other people are doing. Raising, feeding, and loving twin babies is something that requires so much care, attention, and patience. A lot of well meaning advice for singleton babies just doesn’t work for twins. There’s a different rhythm and schedule to figure out. Finding confidence in myself took a little while but I wish I could tell myself freshly postpartum that you are doing everything right and everything in your power for these babes.
And you did a standup job I may add!!! I am always in awe of moms with twins or more!! Yall are built different

It’s crazy how much research we do while we were pregnant that is totally wrong or just doesn’t work for our situation. It’s challenging being a first time mom, I can only imagine how hard it is with twins

My husband gushes all the time about how much he’s just loved watching me become a mom and how natural everything came to me and how impressed he was that I just knew what our son needed.
Clearly 2 different perspectives! But I think it goes to show that we are so hard on ourselves and worry cause we care so much, but we got it this and actually make it look easy on the outside!
