One tip I will give to new moms is to seek help early!
There is nothing wrong with asking for help when it comes to trying to nurse your baby. I have known several people that give up nursing because they don’t want to reach out for help.
If you aren’t getting a good latch, if you are having discomfort while latched, if baby isn’t gaining weight, exc, REACH OUT FOR HELP. Talk to fellow moms, talk to a lactation consultant, or talk to your doctor.
There are several resources for mothers that are breastfeeding! Use them!
Nobody will be judging you, we all want to see you doing good on your breastfeeding journey. ![]()

This is such an important reminder!
I wish more moms knew that asking for help early can make such a difference. Breastfeeding doesn’t always come naturally, and needing support doesn’t mean you’re failing. Sometimes you just need the right guidance, encouragement, and someone in your corner.
