Check your blood pressure

One tip I would like to share would be check your blood pressure up to 6 weeks postpartum. I was readmitted 10 days after delivery due to postpartum preeclampsia with severe features. I had a 5 days after delivery stay with magnesium and tons of blood draws. It was scary and sad due to leaving my family behind.

I love this tip we have a blood pressure machine at home so next time around I’ll definitely keep my eye out for all the signs because reading so many stories where moms had postpartum preeclampsia has really opened my eyes a lot
