Today, I wish I could share the load of being the sole supplier of my baby’s food. I love that I’m able to breastfeed, pump, and provide enough for her, but some days I just get so tired of the all the time spent pumping and worrying about if I’m making enough or if my supply is going to randomly dry up. To add to that, I also worry if am I eating and drinking enough of the right things to provide enough nutrients for both my baby and myself. Right now I feel like I have an insatiable craving for sugar and I just want sweets all the time! I feel like I do okay most days, but others it seems hard to pull together a healthy dinner when ordering cheap take out is so much easier. Here’s a picture of my mini cannoli that I had the ridiculous notion to feel guilty about while savoring every bite! ShareTheLoad
I crave all the sugar too! Pumping and breastfeeding is a full time job and you’re doing great! I wish I didn’t have anxiety over my supply and what I was eating too you are not alone but give yourself some grace and enjoy your sweets you deserve them
I crave sugar a lot too! Here’s a fun fact: when you are craving sugar, a lot of times you actually just need more water. So if you’re trying to avoid sweets, drink a glass of water first. Breastfeeding requires you to drink so much water to produce enough breastmilk. Like 100 ounces a day of water or more.
I feel all this anxiety with you mama! I’m am constantly thinking about my supply 24/7 it’s crazy and how much I eat and drink
The sugar part is too real I thought I had cravings when I was pregnant but the breastfeeding ones and way more intense
